Annual Charity Golf Tournament

The Hotel Council’s Annual Golf Tournament started in 1981 for members and friends to help raise funds for students in Bay Area hospitality programs.

Each year, the Golf Planning Committee creates a full day of golfing, contests, and silent and live auctions. We hope you join us each year for this day of camaraderie and philanthropy.

Hotel and Restaurant Foundation

The Hotel Council Annual Charity Golf Tournament and Auction serves as a fundraiser for the Hotel and Restaurant Foundation’s (HARF) scholarships for Bay Area hospitality students. Through HARF, the Hotel Council created the Robert Begley Leadership Fund, in honor of the Hotel Council’s founder. Since 2006, the Hotel Council has raised over $100,000 and awarded over 20 scholarships through HARF.

As a smaller hotel, I appreciate the network of information the Hotel Council provides. Not only are the seminars filled with relevant topics, but the members are always willing to share ideas and experiences.
